Sophisticated software and microcomputer technology make the Model 545P Laboratory pH Meters Pinnacle's most flexible meter. Special user features, such as the data logger, calibration and timer, among others for general laboratory practices, suit the laboratory pH meters for high volume quality control laboratories and research facilities developing the latest scientific discoveries. The laboratory pH meter's automatic read and end-point sensing combine to reduce the number of keypad operations required for calibration and sample measurement. The laboratory pH meters also use the autoread function to check the stability of the measurement signal allowing for reproducible measurements. A self-diagnostic test checks the laboratory pH meters upon power up, and nonvolatile memory will retain calibration and measurement data during power loss.

The laboratory pH meters display temperature and pH on a large 5 digit LCD screen. An automatic shutoff energy saving feature allows the laboratory pH meters to avoid unnecessary battery depletion. Automatic or manual temperature compensation gives the operator more control over their pH measurements. For the best pH measurements the laboratory pH meters should be used with an ATC probe. If an ATC probe is not used the laboratory pH meter has a manual temperature adjustment feature. The laboratory pH meter has an internal data memory that can manually or automatically store up to 800 datasets including date/time, ID number, measured value, temperature, and temperature measuring method. The laboratory pH meters can transmit data to a PC via a RS232 communication connection. The Model 545P Laboratory pH Meters can also take ORP readings when using an ORP electrode.
